Launching of Asus Eee PC 2nd Generation Postponed

In this year’s Consumer Electronic Show (CES), Asustek unabled to present the second generation of Eee PC which has made buzz around the community. The launch of this project is postponed until mid-next year. The company is suspected to deliver wireless gadget that suitable for Wimax.

As quoted from Softpedia, the second generation of Eee PC project is a follow up of the first Eee PC which has been a successful product in the market. This second notebook hoped to be with 1024×600 resolution with Wimax connectivity. For that, in this project Asus is said to use Windows XP OS.

Another issue about the postpone of Eee PC second generation is the coming of Intel ‘Echo Peak’ technology for laptop which will be announced in mid 2008. This new technology by Intel is said to be adopted by Asus to support its Wimax connectivity.
